Senior Application Developer


Cincinnati Children's Hospital
  • Created an abundance of tools for the Rare Disease Network utilizing various AWS cloud technologies
  • Pioneered a user synchronization system that permits thousands of users to properly access over 15 tools and software platforms with the correct roles and attributes.
  • Co-authored "Pediatric Asthma Risk Score (PARS)" in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI) PubMed ID: 30554722
  • Created a responsive web application, PARS, as well as corresponding application Android app on Google Play and IOS app on Apple App Store
  • Served as the only technical contact for the design, development, testing, and support for GreenTracks for both CCHMC - Office of Pediatric Clinical Fellowships and the University of Cincinnati Medical Scientist Training Program
  • Our team went above and beyond the initial request of digitizing and backing up records with GreenTracks, which follows medical professionals from their time as a student, in training, and throughout their professional career
  • The web-application connects seamlessly with external sources such as MedHub, PubMed, BugSnag, and Jira through APIs

  • Managed all technical responsibilities including, reviewing integration documents, communicating with third parties, selecting technology stack, and DevOps
  • Drove innovation during weekly meetings with partners including development updates, action items, and problem areas
  • Integrated with multiple external APIs via JSON Restful endpoints and SOAP web services
  • Independently crafted the idea for a solution that is digital, secure, and delivers instant results

  • Spearheaded update to aging website leading development of transferology.com and transferologylab.com, which launched 2014
  • Built project using responsive web design with one view for all devices
  • Transferology has grown from launch to a large-scale project with more than 2MM users per year
  • Implemented W3C WCAG 2.0 web accessibility using WAI-ARIA and JavaScript to aid impaired users
  • Acted as lead developer to help 'at risk' projects get back on track, resulting in three successful product releases
  • Created and maintained roadmap for future features/enhancements, leading to a 20% sales increase
  • Maintained a course applicability system with a network of universities and colleges across the globe to help students transfer higher education credits from institution to institution
